Congratulations to our members at GranthamPoole who have moved into leadership positions. Brad Hatchett is a new Managing Partner. There are three new Partners: Jack Kaler, Donna Morris, and Jason Morgan.

Brad Hatchett joined GranthmanPoole in 2008 and lead audit, valuation, and advisory services. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Samford University and an MBA from the University of Alabama, Brad brings deep expertise in financial statement audits, tax, business valuations, merger & acquisition consulting, and strategic planning. Brad worked at an International Accounting Firm from 1997- 2008 as a Senior Associate and moving into a Senior Mangaer position. He is active in professional organizations including the AICPA and NACVA. Brad lives in Madison, MS, with his family and enjoys woodworking, travel, and outdoor activities and is an avid outdoorsman, spending time playing disc golf, participating in shooting sports, and camping.

Donna Morris joined GranthmanPoole in 2004, where she brings extensive experience in financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, fraud & forensic accounting, and IT consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting from Mississippi College. Donna has previously worked as a controller and accountant in industry. She serves clients across retail, construction, non-profit, finance, and employee benefit plan sectors. Active in professional and community service, Donna supports organizations such as PALS House and March of Dimes. She resides in Flora, MS, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Jack Kaler joined GranthmanPoole in 2015 and is a partner specializing in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for individuals and businesses. He works extensively with clients in real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. Jack holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a member of the AICPA and is involved  in community service. Jack is active in the Young CPA Network taking on leadership roles as President, board member, and on various committees. He is currently the YCPA Chair of the MSCPA Young CPA Liaison Committee. Jack lives in Ridgeland, MS with his wife, and enjoys travel, sports, and staying active.

Jason Morgan joined GranthmanPoole in 2018, where he specializes in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation as well as strategic tax planning. He holds both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University. Jason began his career in public accounting and, after a brief tenure at a regional firm, returned to GranthamPoole where he serves clients with strategic tax guidance and compliance support. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, Jason lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife Rebekah, and enjoys watching sports, reading, and spending time with his two dogs.
