Thomas Dunbar

Thomas Dunbar is a shareholder at Ross & Yerger Insurance Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Prior to joining Ross & Yerger Insurance, Thomas worked for Holtzman Partners (now Armanino LLP), a public accounting firm in Austin, Texas. Thomas is the author of Leapfrog Public Accounting's Learning Curve: Real Life Advice for New Hire Success and has served as a director of PriorityOne Bank, the Central Mississippi Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Center for Social Entrepreneurship, the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, the Phoenix Club of Jackson, and the Mission First Early Learning Center.

Stephen Fritz

Stephen Fritz

Stephen Fritz has experience from the pleadings to the appeal. His work spans an array of subject matters, including products liability and other tort claims, commercial disputes, and federal statutory claims.

Stephen's practice frequently involves briefing dispositive motions and appeals. His work on several mass litigation teams also includes taking depositions, briefing Daubert motions, and weighing in on strategic litigation decisions.

Stephen maintains strong community involvement. A firm believer in lawyers' obligation to work pro bono, he has experience with various Mississippi chancery court matters and federal habeas. He also serves as his church's senior warden, was a member of the 2022-2023 Mississippi Bar Leadership class, and participates in several local bar organizations.

Before joining the firm, Stephen clerked for the Hon. Rhesa H. Barksdale on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also taught middle school social studies in Holmes County, Mississippi, through Teach For America.

Stephen received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Virginia Law Review and a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. (summa cum laude) in history and political science.

Rob is a Partner on the Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services team at EAG Gulf Coast, LLC, a subsidiary of Eisner Advisory Group, LLC [This firm is not a CPA firm.]. Rob has over 15 years of experience working with attorneys, CPAs, and their clients providing advisory services in the areas of business valuation and litigation support. More specifically, Rob provides advisory services related to valuations for estate and gift tax compliance, purchases and sales of businesses, shareholder disputes, and for matrimonial litigation. Additionally, Rob provides damage calculations related to personal injury, wrongful death, employment litigation, and commercial actions. Rob has prepared and contributed to numerous opinions for valuation and litigation matters.

Rachel Kinzer, CPA/CFF, CFE, is a Manager in Moore Colson's Consulting Practice. Rachel has seven years of forensic accounting, auditing, and small business accounting experience. She began her career with MSR Accounting & Business Solutions in Greenville, SC, where she managed the accounting and payroll for small businesses and prepared individual federal and state income tax returns. After MSR Accounting & Business Solutions, Rachel worked as a staff accountant for Myers and Stauffer, LC, in Atlanta, GA, where she completed review and attestation engagements for the Georgia Department of Community Health, Virginia Department of Health, and Alabama Department of Education. Rachel has a wide range of financial analysis and data modeling skills and has experience working with large data sets. In addition, she has experience with data query languages, data visualization, and Visual Basic Application programming language. Before joining Moore Colson, she held a position at Acuitas, Inc. working on economic damage and forensic accounting engagements in various industries, including accounting malpractice, heavy equipment rentals, manufacturing, telecommunications, and healthcare. At Moore Colson, Rachel has assisted with various assignments, including lost profit calculations, fraud investigations, equitable distribution calculations, bankruptcies, and internal control risk assessment consulting. In 2023, Rachel was recognized as a National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and Consultants' Training Institute's 30 Under Thirty honoree.

Jim Koerber is a Managing Director with the Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services division at EAG Gulf Coast, LLC [This firm is not a CPA firm], a subsidiary of Eisner Advisory Group, LLC, and is responsible for valuation and litigation services for attorneys, CPAs, and their clients. Koerber has over 45 years of experience in public accounting and has worked in industry as a controller. Koerber graduated from Mississippi State University with a major in Banking and Finance and obtained an additional major in Accounting at Louisiana State University.
Koerber is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. He holds the Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics credentials from the American Institute of CPAs. Koerber has qualified as an expert witness in state courts in Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas and United States District Court in Mississippi.

Troy Odom

Troy Odom

Judge Odom is a Chancellor for the Twentieth Chancery District, Place 2 (Rankin County, Mississippi), where he presides over domestic relations, probate, real property, and other equity jurisdiction proceedings. In 2021, he chaired the Legislative Domestic Relations Task Force, and has served on the 2019 committee to study automatic restraining orders and 2023 committee to study delays in termination of parental rights and adoption.

Prior to his election to the bench in 2018, Odom practiced law with the firm of Blair & Bondurant, P.A., in Jackson, Mississippi, where he handled real property, estate, and general litigation matters, with an emphasis in oil and gas law. While in private practice, Odom served his profession through leadership roles, including Chair of the MS Bar Association's Professionalism Committee, President of the Rankin County Bar Association, Director for the Capital Area Bar Association, and President of the MS Oil and Gas Lawyers Association. Odom graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2002. While at Ole Miss Law School, he served as Executive Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998.

Randy G. Pierce

Randy G. Pierce

Randy is the director of the Mississippi Judicial College. He previously served on the Mississippi Supreme Court, as a Chancellor for the Sixteenth Chancery Court District, and as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. Randy received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law where he served as LSSB President. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. While a member of the Mississippi Supreme Court, Randy served as co-chair of the supreme court's Commission on Children's Justice. He also served as chair of the Rules Committee on the Legal profession. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi College School of Law. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, American Bar Association, Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Joseph E. Varner

Joseph E. Varner

Jody Varner joined the Brunini Firm in 1990. He concentrates his practice in federal income and transfer tax issues, including transactional tax planning, estate and gift taxation and entity formation. Jody also has experience in mergers and acquisitions and private placements of equity and debt securities. He has been involved in tax planning for corporate acquisitions, including tax free reorganizations, mergers, and purchases of stock and assets. Jody has assisted clients in planning for both large and small estates and in developing methods effectively to transfer family businesses and investments from one generation to the next. He has experience in structuring and managing issues involving trusts, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies and closely held corporations. Jody has also assisted clients in charitable giving and asset preservation issues.
